He did have muscles with those brains; not Hulk-like muscle, but in the books, he never was built like that. His strength is there, though; he grabbed the Roosevelt Island tram with his hand in the first one, remember? He stopped that train from going into the river in the second one...he's not supposed to have Superman-like strength.

He did have muscles with those brains; not Hulk-like muscle, but in the books, he never was built like that. True, I don't expect him to have superman muscles, but I hope they show some muscles on Peter Parker. I recall them trying to show that in the first Spiderman. I would like a little more muscles, though, change it up a little instead of going 100% by the book.

Yes, like the pic provided in a post above from the first Raimi film, indeed it was being attempted to show him sporting some kind of bulge in the biceps -- but I am one of those that prefer the authenticity of going exactly with the comic runs. I totally understand your point though, and wouldn't necessarily think if they made him look a bit like the comic clip provided in a post above as well it would be a bad thing.
