In wall speaker cable

I'm getting ready to have speaker cable run for my rear surround speakers and for 2 outdoor speakers. Do I use the same speaker cable I used for my other speakers? I used BJC Belden 5000 12g for my fronts and center. Also does $100.00 per hour to have someone from an Audio/Video shop run the cable sound like a reasonable price?
Thanks

You can use any 12 gauge cable. For the outdoor speakers, is the wire going to have a long lead outside, or be just past the siding? For long lead outdoor cabling, you should be using a UV protected direct burial outdoor cable such as that you can find at www.outdoorspeakerdepot.com

Depending on your location $100/hr is typical. I typically run about $70/hr in the Washington DC area which I've always considered better than average. You can always try to negotiate the price down a bit. Some will, some will not.

Ask them what you get for $100/hour.

Thanks. The speaker wire for the outdoor speakers will be just passing through the wall in the attic outside under the eave.
