Well, from a lot of experience of building home theatre systems for people I would highly recommend you to check out fluance, they have a whole brand new home theatre system consisting of 2 Towers - 1 Center - 2 Surrounds for 199.99 and they do sound really amazing especially for the price they sound a lot higher end, well built with a really good crossover and strong durable drivers with great sound resonance, they'll be great for you can always look for a budget friendly receiver, but what i do is just browse the classified ads you'll find amazing receivers to start you off for cheap, 5.1 receivers are selling like 25 cent candies, 7.1 is more high market right now with high prices so the 5.1 receivers even ones that are just only 3 years old go for $100 or less. I was able to setup a system for someone, with fluance speakers, put the fronts close to the corner since the Port is rear facing and against the corner of the wall the bass will be pronounce, for that case it does amazing with bass, then got a pioneer 5.1 receiver which had strong outputs and produced a lot of bass response coupled with the fluance speakers. They have base packages starting from 199.99 you can always step it up to 299.99 if you want a little higher end but personally for you i believe the 199.99 will be really good. Search up reviews on them they are definitely worth the price, you listen to them you'll never expect them to be 199.99 the couple thought they were 299.99 each front tower, highly recommended, they sound great with Hip-Hop with heavy bass, or even classical or jazz they all sound really good. You'll be impressed for their price.

they have built in subwoofers in either tower, not powered but cross over in a properly built enclosure so your powerful two receiver will do well with these especially put them in two corners angled inwards will be great enough bass, great midrange and really good highs they don't skip on quality of drivers. Little more pricey if you want this but it's something to consider.
I can't find any other budget friendly companies out there, there are many companies that make wonderful speakers but their price range is not for you for what your looking for.
