The music list for the Royal wedding is now public.

There is some really beautiful music.

It seems it will be a big day for Sir Hubert H. Parry, who seems to be particularly well represented. His time has apparently come again.

The choice if his anthem, I was Glad When They said unto Me, is a particularly inspired choice for the brides procession. This is one of my favorite anthems.

The music promises to be a highlight of this event.

So get your HD DVRs set, and your systems ready to go, and enjoy the show.

I forgot about the music! I'm not a republican*, by any stretch, but I wasn't really interested enough in the wedding to bother setting my HD PVR before going to work. The list looks great - at least the pieces that I recognize.

Wow. That's some smooth talking.

My wife got up to watch it but I'm not interested. Maybe this couple will workout but marriages into the royal family almost always ended up in some dumb scandal and breakup followed by weeks of reptitive headlines on TV and in newspapers. I'm just tired of that cycle.

The one thing that did it really impress me with these two is that they ask that their wedding gifts would be donations to charity. I thought that was very special. I do wish them all the best and I hope they cna keep the rest of teh royals at more than arms length away.
