Thank-you, thank-you, thank-you! :D
I was wondering if there would be a version made available like this. I just downloaded it and I can't wait to try it out!

My wife saw the title of the program I was downloading and became very excited. I had to tell her it isn't what she thought it was. She's quite disappointed...

Yeah, my wife didn't benefit from this software either. But that's a different kind of listening skill..

It's a test!

I'm sitting at 66% right now, lol.
Like I need this kind of pressure! :)

Beyond being a test it's just what it says it is 'Band ID Training' and I just got through listening to some over priced POS that had a bump @ 175Hz and broke up @ a boosted 2.5KHz ... I have been trained ... This should serve as a warning to all speaker companies ... my ears are back belts.

I of course am at 69 % with 24 trials but there was a trick trial in there where they bumped a frequency that wasn't very present in the music and I guessed it to be a frequency that I couldn't hear very well. Sneaky bastards.

That's just off the first selection of options. I can't wait to get to be further enlightened. Something went screwy with me signing in as Alex2507 where they say my password is incorrect so I got myself a virtual sex change and became cheryl.

I want my balls back. :D

I'll spend some time with it later.
Make sure you have plenty of time.
It's kind of addicting and very effective as a training tool.
My ears now are better than ears costing 3 times more. :D

I've wrapped my head in ice & water shield to reduce resonance.

After hearing that song over & over (How long has this been going on), it reminds me of your reaction when you saw me talking to Doug at last years BBQ.:D

Hmmm I get these two errors when trying to run it. OS 10.6.7

It also installed with the folder locked. Making me the owner on all files did not work either.

You should have bought an eMachines. :D

I couldn't download it with FF and had to go to IE.

Even then I didn't get how the thing worked but after finally getting it I have to say that skill level 6 is a b!tch and missing the right answer by 1 over and over again is really frustrating. Cheryl just informed me that she is getting a headache ... no more Band ID Training and probably no (pick your own obscene gesture).

Which version of Firefox are you using?

I am not having issues downloading the installer using Firefox 3.6.6 or Safari 5.0.4 on Mac OS 10.6.6. It should take you to the Google Doc's page, where there is a download button. You may get a message that says" Sorry, we are unable to scan this file for viruses. The file exceeds the maximum size that we scan. Download anyway" but just click on the "Download anyway" hyperlink which starts the download.

I think your ears are trained and ready to appreciate a pair of Revel Salon 2's :)

I'm just downloading OS 10.6.7 (currently running 10.6.6) on my machine to see if I can replicate these errors. Thanks for reporting them.
