Yea, I'd rather have a fusion reactor then a fission reactor nearby lol. One of my professors told me that he and his buddies were planning on building a nuclear fission reactor for their house. They never got around to it lol. He has a phd in nuclear science and engineering, so it wouldve definitely been possible.
