Yeah... and I have the measurements from HSU. I know it's size, was just trying to get a feel. :p

Hopefully this will help some. The photo shows a little more perspective and also has the center channel sitting atop for to help with scale.

I've ordered some stands for the surrounds and one for the center to sit atop the tv - http://www.centerstagebracket.com/1210.html.
I really didn't want to drill holes to into the wall and this seems perfect.

The surrounds will be on these - http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00133VWRS/ref=ord_cart_shr?ie=UTF8&m=A228GNTXW0TH0L
- should match very well with the cherry surrounds.

I hate playing the waiting game...but want to get it right. Once set up, it will be around for a loooong time :).

Clouso I've read some of those reviews and judging by them....you'll certainly noice a BIG difference once you plug it in....just remember to buy yourself a SPL meter and don't use your ears to set things up....just saying...lol.:D

Wow...a wuss Audioholic and UPS driver both in the same town...:D

My subs weighed 165lbs each and I got them in door, unpacked and set up alone.

Just ribbin" ya, sounds like fun and will be an awesome set up. Enjoy!:D
But two of us carried one of them out the door.:) wow that SVS sounds great. Every time I go over to James house and he rattles the windows. I come home wishing I had a pair of them.
Do you still have the other SVS that was in the corner? Nice system you have.

Yep, I have the one PB13U upfront and it is staying. It amazes me that one does a good job in that giant room. 2 was a little better but not that much. I miss the second one for movies but not for music.

When I set in the center of your speakers wow the you could fell the bass and not just one tone :) the next level in subs is a expensive one. I am lucky as my room is about 18X20 with low ceiling with walls and carpet, my two Klipsch 12" subs will just do.. James is wowed with my late Dad's old Corwalls that are a little closer then your fine system. I have them in corners of the room and towed "in". James used his DB nmeter and matched all my Klipsch speakers for Bluay movies.

That beautiful room that opened up to the kitchen and tall ceiling hurts your movie experience with the second SVS gone, but other then that you have a Great sounding system. Hey I saw a post with a pic of your bikes..nice.

I bought nearly the same thing near Christmas time! The Oppo BDP-93 player, the HSU VTF-15 sub, the HSU ULS-15 and a 5 speaker Vienna Acoustics Beethoven Grand based system was purchased. I wasn't here at the house when it was delivered, but after seeing it I nearly panicked! This is a monster subwoofer. I'm waiting for cables and a new TV stand to set everything up properly. Should have it all installed by Friday. I will let you know how it sounds...with both subs or just the VTF-15.

After reading your subsequent post, I also should have bought the Aperion Verus 5 speaker system! It was between the Verus and the Vienna Acoustics Beethovens, but I was just blown away in a demo in Denver back in mid-December so I bought them. I hope everything works out well for you!

Congrats to both of us! :D

I'm looking forward to seeing what you think of your setup. I'm waiting for speaker stands for center and surrounds and will finish wiring it then. I have to go out of town, so it won't be another until a week from Saturday before I can finish it. My patience is running out since it's all sitting there just asking to be fired up.

Great Sub. Friend has a SVS Ultra. Nice sub too. Use the 3 plugs to seal it for music. HSU is better buy for what you get. Onkyo AVR fried again. Out of warranty. No sub money for few months.

There should be no duty on products made in the USA..but shipping charges will be a b***h going from California to Quebec....:D

Fwiw...I paid ~$100.00cdn(BC to Ont) from funkywaves and it weights about 90lbs without the packaging....:)
