Hsu Research Open House

I just got off the phone with Hsu Research and they informed me that they are planning an open house at their Anaheim California headquarters for next month and that Dr. and Mrs. Hsu will be there. It's tentatively scheduled for Saturday November 6th from 10am to at least 4pm. It's a two hour drive (each way) for me but I'm going to try to make it.

They authorized me to let members know but I don't work for them so please contact them directly for further details.

Edit: This seems like a great chance for SoCal Audioholics members to meet & say hello.

That's only about 1 hour away for me ...i didn't think hemet to anaheim was 2 hours I would say no more than 1 1/2

I'm 65 miles away and travel time depends on the whims of the gods of the 91fwy. In other words anywhere from 90 minutes to a day and a half.

The freaking 91 sucks. I drive on the 215/91 every day.

Something New?

From Hsu's announcement on AVS:

Hi guys,

We plan to have an Open House at our new facility early next month. Here are the tentative details:

Date: Saturday November 6
Time: 10am-4pm (we may extend this past 4pm if need be)
Location: Hsu Research facility (985 N. Shepard Street, Anaheim CA 92806)

Dr. Hsu, his wife, and some of my co-workers will be there.

We will have some food and drink.

We will be showing off something completely new, more than two years in the making.

when i said 25 hours earlier, i was just guessing. i plugged it into google maps and it told me.. 25 hours.

Oh and rumor has it that Ascend will be having one soon. I'm guessing as part of the Sierra-1 NrT Tower roll out but that's not confirmed. That's about the same distance for me.

I wonder if it is the revised TN1220 they were talking about bringing back. That is something they have hinted at working on in the last year or so. It wouldn't exactly be new though.

It sort of would be if they added some cool new capabilities, like built in calibration and/or wireless, or something like that.
