While a purchase like that actually makes sense, it'd still bug me to pay $65 for a 9" lcd just because you can get a much larger monitor for only a little bit more :/

I understand. I have been seeing 7-9" screens for $100+ and just couldn't do it. This deal put me over the edge! In my case, it will travel for set-up duties between 3 systems, so portability is paramount over size - even 15" would be a hassle!

Seriously, I have no life.
I bought a 7" LCD from KMart for setting up security cameras- $89 and it's battery powered/DC adapter with ATSC tuner and a composite video input. Beats the he!! out of the ones sold by my distributor for $300 and it does the same thing. If I drop it, I don't lose as much and if I buy the protection plan, even dropping is covered. It makes sense to use a separate display for setting up Audyssey- much better than firing up a projector or other display that doesn't like being turned on for short periods.
