on Legendary solo. Will be finishing up the campaign on this difficulty today. It was really fun, tough at times but I was never really frustrated. When I ended up dying over and over at some parts I would take a break, come back to that part and would usually beat it after a few tries.

I want to throw the controller across the room playing Legendary.

I want to throw the controller across the room playing Legendary.

I just beat it this afternoon. Carrying a plasma pistol with you at all times and a long rage weapon DMR/Needle Riffle/Pistol makes legendary manageable on solo. Its not difficult to always carry a refreshed Plasma Pistol since Grunts are constantly dropping them after you kill them. If I did not use the strategy to use the overcharged Plasma Pistol to take the shields off of most of the elites and other enemies I would be left with hardly any long range ammo. It really helps conserve ammo.

With legendary and solo, playing with close range weapons equals fail. Always try to have the higher level position on the enemies when you can as well. Just sit back from a distance and be patient. The only time I get aggressive is right after I get a checkpoint, so it doesn't matter as much when I die.

What part are you stuck at Majorloser? There were a few areas that gave me problems where I died maybe 20 times before beating it.

Agreed. Stay as far away as possible from Elites and let Noble Team do as much of the work as possible. If you hang back a bit, Legendary's not too bad at all (especially if you play through the campaign once on Heroic to scout out when to use which weapons and where problem sections will be).

I'm using the N00B blaster combo that I used to use in Halo 2 multiplayer whenever possible......1 shot from overcharged plasma pistol, followed by one headshot from magnum. Works like a charm. Drop a few elites then the grunts scatter, pick 'em off with headshots and let Noble team take care of jackyls.

go to spartan settings then to loadouts. its not under base traits

Halo reach was very beautifully made and has so many options... but I still found myself feeling bored with it very quickly .It is too bad because the game has so much promise.
