Got it.
OK, I got all the pieces and got them hooked up and have listened to the system for two days.
I used normal 16 gauge speaker wire. I attached a picture of how I have it set up.
I have listened to rock, rap, hip hop, reggae, classic country, jazz, blues, and classical.
I have the bass and treble knobs set at the midway point.
And I have to say, so far the system is everything I set out to get. Not too expensive. Sounds good. Is just for music. Fills the room. Has some pop. It really shines playing some jazz. Its also fun to play something with a little bass because It comes through clean. It sounded good playing music off the music channels on UVerse. The football game sounded good on it. My IPhone playing Pandora sounded good. Havent had a chance to play a high bit-rate mp3 yet. But I imagine the music channels coming out of UVerse are pretty decent. I need to get an XM receiver.
I have two questions:
There are two banks of terminals labeled speaker set A and speaker set B. I have both speakers plugged into the speaker set A bank. I have the Ohm impedance set to 8. And I have speaker set B turned off on the tuner. Am I only getting 50 watts to each speaker? A buddy was talking about bridging the two speaker sets to get a full 100 watts to each speaker.
Question two. Is there a way to adjust the mid-range on this tuner? I like to make the snare pop out.
