The Speaker Company warranty

Beware! If you have a product from The Speaker Company that is still under warranty and you're having issues, you might want to consider having it repaired on your own. I had an ASW-10 subwoofer that was a great unit until it began blowing it's own fuse when turned on. I contacted The Speaker Company and received a return authorization and promptly shipped it in for warranty repair or refund (their words). Fed-Ex tracking showed it recieved at a Rockaport, NJ facility on July 20th. Since then, no one will talk to me. I even contacted the people at the NJ facility and absolutely no one will help me. Thus it would appear i will never see that sub again.

Sorry top hear your misfortunes with this company. What happens when you call them? Asked for the manager or owner or someone higher than the person answering the phone? What do they say? Anything?

Contact the Better Business bureau where this company is. I bet most can be reached on line to file a complaint.

Wasn't TSC was a part pf DM Holdings? If so you should be able to get ahould of someone. Just keep pushing it up the food chain. If all else fails you can write the company president. You'd be shocked how that shakes people up. ;)

Nick used to frequent these boards. Don't know if he's still around. tSc is offically closed so DM Holdings might be servicing their warranty through different channels.

I had amazing service when I had issues with my outdoor speakers.

panurgyoem.com handles TSC refurbishment (or at least some of it). I don't know if anyone there can help you or not though.


They will also sell refurbs, I wanted a second T300 awhile back but they were out. Had just about every other TSC sub though.

Panurgy came through and is sending me a replacement. Only a short 5 months later. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all of you in audio land.
