I'd call panny tech support and check your firmware version to see if it is up to date.

I do have latest update. I called panny, they just blamed the Mits tv..

Now I don't get sound at all even with DVD or BR or BR3d. I watched Cloudy w/.... sat night no problems.

by pass your avr and and see if it works.
That is how it is. Just hdmi (main) through Mits 3D converter to Mits tv hdmi in.

I came here looking for people who actually use the stuff. Those so called reps do not know as much as I do. He didn't even know what the 2nd hdmi output did..

TV is a Diamond Series DLP 2008. This dvd player is very popular at avsforums.com and I did find out there it will work in 3D without converter. I will try tonight.

I would also set Dynamic Range Compression to OFF instead of Auto, though that may not be related to the audio issue - it should just be off IMO. Are you streaming wired or wireless? It sounds like a streaming issue, not necessarily a problem with the player.

streaming wireless

Wireless streaming.

Well I kept changing things and got all of my sound working.

Somehow I turned off hdmi audio output which is what cost me the dvd and br sound I did have.

But I still had no audio on streaming video.

To get sound on netflix, I had to change hdmi resolution output to 480p. No other setting would play sound, not even AUTO. So I guess I have to change this setting between playing netflix and dvd/blu ray discs.

Thanks for all the help. Hope this helps somebody. Maybe I can get a job with Panny, no one there told me this. They blamed it on the tv or netflix.
