I sent Wmax (Chris) parts to make me a couple crossovers for a couple of tower speakers.. I sent him about 150 bucks for the labor and spent about 150 bucks on the crossover parts which were sent to him. This was about 4 months ago... now he won't reply to my emails or anything. What i don't understand is that he already had made me the crossover for the matching center channel like a year ago but now won't talk to me. Not sure what to do. Hopefully he comes thru... I heard he had hurt his shoulder. Anyone know whats up with him?

It is the nature of who Chris is I am afraid. Even when you are standing right in front of him: it can be very difficult to get him to work on something.

It would be far less annoying if he was just honest in his own assessments.

I'm certain his injuries are doing nothing to help. I don't actually think this behavior is within his control. I don't believe he is *trying* to not deliver... it is the nature of the beast.

My only advice is to keep after him. I assume you did not email him through audioholics (he's banned).

Just because I'm a paranoid schizophrenic doesn't mean I don't know when I'm being talked about. :rolleyes:

Inertia, just be glad it's only $300 and that you don't have Chris' problems ... or RandyB's for that matter ... or mine while we're at it. Didn't you see the writing on the wall regarding non-performance issues? There was another member (I forget who) that had some issue as well. You guys might need to band together.

I'm sorry to hear of this. Is this a passive crossover? Maybe someone else can help you get the thing working. It may not be as pretty, but the key thing is getting it to work.

Man, after hearing all of these stories I am so glad I didn't send him my tweeters to make super tweeters and new crossovers (something he and I discussed and I was in the process of doing). The tweeters alone are 220 bucks a piece....I would have driven to his place and beat him up if he stiffed me. I sure hope he turns everything around. I feel bad for everyone who put their trust in him. Very sad and disappointing!

Send them to me and I'll let you beat me up after you drive to RI. Let me know when you're coming so that I can be at home. I would hate to further inconvenience you by making you wait.

I'll PM you my address. You can mail the tweeters and then start driving to the same place. :D

If you replace the parts, I will build you the crossovers, and not charge you for the good of the order since you are already out of pocket. I build neat pretty crossovers.

I built these for another member.

I actually didn't know there was a problem with him before I sent him my stuff. He did the center channel crossover for me so I gave him the benefit of the doubt without checking into it. Emailed him and called him on the phone.... no answer for either. I will stay after him and see what happens.

Sorry to hear about your WillAx whoas Inertia, I hope he sends you something back, cash would be nice. Keep on him so he knows its no longer the norm.

This has been mentioned to me, but to be honest, I think in the end there could be a privacy issue especially if this ends up being a legal affair.

Disturbing post :( I'm sure he's taking all these matters very seriously and is personally disheartened at being unable to post at AH due to being banned. Thankfully, the forums at PartsExpress are still the beneficiary of his knowledge because he's still an active poster there.
