Just drove down yesterday to SVS sound and picked up a pc12plus.
Have to work Saturday so it won't get hooked up till Sunday.
Wife is NOT going to like it:D
She thinks its a regular speaker.
First blue ray on the agenda will be Master and Commander, followed by the Dark Night.
Anyone have a spare bedroom I can use afterwards.:D:eek:

The blu ray of Master and Commander emasculated the deep bass in the soundtrack. If you have the regular DVD, use that instead. Dark Knight isn't bad, but for me, the best demo scenes for subwoofers are the robots emerging from the street scene from War of the Worlds, and the crash scene from Flight of the Phoenix. The pod race from The Phantom Menace is a good demo scene as well, along with many of the scenes in Cloverfield.

Guess what,I do have the regular version!;)
My ps3 does a great job of upscaling so I really don't replace my regular dvd's unless there is a big sound benefit.

If you have a pickup come to Ohio and we'll load it up with subs.
There were drivers and subs all over the place.I was like a kid in a candy store:D
Marc told me they are shorthanded right now and are having a hard time keeping up with demand.
They are working on a demo room right now,but its a work in progress.
Btw,when I walked into the warehouse he had to cut the receiver off so we could hear each other.

We had a lengthy discussion about that one in another thread and I don't think it is as bad as you are making it out. It looks bad because of the waterfall charts, but I think the new track still sounds great because the bass is clean. There are still some heavy hits, they just don't rumble as much because it was cleaned up so much, and in fact, some of what we heard on the SD DVD dts track was bloat or hot.
