Look for Muslin. It's pretty durable and not terribly expensive. They'll always have it in white and off white and some stores have black.

Other than that, you can use standard broadcloth which comes in a variety of colors and is also relatively inexpensive.

Grille cloth can work too. It's just a LOT more open weave and thinner. Putting it front of 703 can let the yellow show through depending on the lighting.

ahh ok, well the only stuff i could find was ROXUL safe n sound insulation, its a fire and sound proofing insulation. and its a puke green colour so it might not be to bad with the grill cloth, but i will ask for the muslin stuff tomorrow.

If you can breathe through it easily, it will work for what you want. Then, the only thing that matters is how it looks. What kind it is doesn't matter but they have better looking material than muslin.

well i went to wallmart today and found nothing good but black bed sheet material. so it looks like im going to be stuck with that. i dont think it will look to bad, not the best, but could always be rewrapped later down the road.

Do you have JoAnn Fabric stores near you? Any dedicated fabric stores? They usually have what you need.

I used a formulation that was spandex and polyester, in black and it works and looks great. If you can blow through it, it's fine, acoustically.
