Your response looks pretty similar to mine. My 15" has a 5db bump at 35hz. We'll see what the curve looks like in the new house.

We're doing the frame walk today. The electrician called me and told me that the 250 feet of 12 gauge wire I gave him wasn't enough! I told him to go ahead and use 14 gauge for the surrounds. Should be ok I guess.

I'm a little worried though. He did a bunch of stuff for us on the side, (recessed lights in the great room and master bedroom and alarm system). I hope the KB foreman either doesn't notice or doesn't hassle us about it. :(

Here is my latest measurements (before the BFD). Can't wait to see what numbers I end up with.:p

Did you move the sub? How did you get rid of that peak at 30Hz and get a new problem at 50Hz-80Hz?

Reducing some of your frequencies to match your output at 16hz seems like it will net you the best overall response.

Also, it appears your measurements were over many more frequencies than the last graph you supplied.

A few changes with the AVR settings as well as the settings that my mains have for the powered woofers. Still need the BFD, but I could live with this a little better.

Thanks. That's one thing I may do. HT Shack seems to have tons of tips to try. I may give a few of the possible house curve plans available a shot.

Yes. The first set is from a Reves CD. The second set is from tones I downloaded from HTS.

So how's the egg doin'? You liking it?
I'm loving it. More this week than last.

I noticed that there was little to no difference between having it on or off the other day. I checked the amp and the volume was turned down to almost off. Little Sera still hasn't learned not to touch Daddy's HT system. It's a good thing she's cute or she'd be out on her @ss.

After resetting the volume all was great again. I have two settings. One for music and another for HT. It works out perfect.

Cool. Glad you like it.

I was lucky and my boy never touched anything when he was little. Now I'm just waiting to navigate the teenage years...:)
