Watch that tape again. It would be like punching The Blob. His fist would have gone in so deep he's never see it again.

Seriously, a quick, clean face hit is what you want when you want to stop an altercation. If nothing else, it "sobers up" the target real quickly.

Plus, what if she were pregnant? The media would just love that.
What if she just ate a burrito with chili sauce?

You're lucky.

Gross:eek:

However, now I am hungry for mexican food. I think I will take my son out to La Carretta's :D
We've got tons of ethnic food here except GOOD Mexican and BBQ are hard to find.

Most "Mexican" restaurants are run by Columbians or Peruvians. It's not the same...

Thamks, Mike. Same to your two beautiful ladies.

Haha, true.

And yeah, if she were pregnant, there would definitely be an uproar.

I'll just be quiet for now :D

I will have to say after watching that I think that cop needs to improve his grappling and takedown skills. He very obviously does not know how to take someone down. As soon as that girl (and I use the word girl loosely) came at him he should have been able to put her in a hold and take her down. If that cop ever gets into to with some dudes that can fight even a little bit he is going to be toast unless he shoots or uses his pepper spray.

Those other girls must be really stupid.

They waited until the guy told them what that brown stuff was.

Evidently not very well. Last time I got punched in the face there was blood everywhere and I saw stars. That guy has weak kung fu. His pimp arm is more like a limp wrist. My grandmother use to hit me harder with her purse. F^%&ing pussy.

Yes I am pissed about the speeding ticket.
There's something fishy going on here. I don't recall saying this:

He is a cop afterall he is trained, right?
And, I can't find any post of mine with that statement.

Hmmmm, maybe that chick and you can go to the same anger management class....:D

Late to the party...

I don't think the punch was warranted. The two girls, and I hate to call them girls, damn, that big 17 vs 18 becomes largely irrelevant, they're much more woman than girls... Anyhow, what I see, the policeman was grabbing that first woman, who was trying to get free of the policeman grabbing her arms. Then the second woman, comes in and tries to help the 1st woman to get free, and pushes the policeman.

Then, the officer clearly decides to punch her in the face. It was an aggression, an attack, plain and simple. This amount of force escalation was simply unnecessary. Don't tell me that he couldn't have controlled this woman without punching her full force in the face...

The guy holding the camera: "Why'd you have to hit her" is entirely right. He could have slapped her, which again would have been wrong, but the correct way to act would simply to have grabbed one of her arm and put her face on the hood of the car. And I said put, not bash her face on the hood...

It's pretty simple, this guy didn't have to punch the woman to arrest her. When he punched her, it was simply an example of police brutality. I'm not excusing the conduct of the two women in any way... But simply stating that he did not have to punch her. Yet, he did.

But he wasn't trying to beat the crap out of her, he just wanted her to stop climbing all over him. A backhand slap would probably just pizz her off more.

What's wrong with grabbing one of her arm and putting her on the hood? Why does hitting even enter the equation? Don't tell me he couldn't have done that.. hell, I could have easily, and the guy probably weights more than me. I'm 5'10, 185. The guy could have grabbed one of her arms, and use his superior strength to handle her... If she gets hurt because she fights him, hurts her arm, then it's her own fault, but punching, or physically assaulting her, really wasn't necessary, even if he was being assaulted himself...

Because let's face it, a guy assaulting a cop vs how those chicks assaulted the cop aren't the same thing... It's not the same kind of assault, I can definitely see cops throwing punches in some cases, but it really wasn't required in this case. This was police brutality, pure and simple.

As if the other one would immediately back off? Don't bet on it. If someone starts beating on a cop, it clearly shows that they have no regard for laws and civility. She has a record of violent behavior which he probably didn't know about but it was obvious that she had no intention of stopping with a little push. It's great to think that people will stop what they're doing when someone tells them to but that's not happening in today's world. Grabbing one arm leaves the other free and I don't think it would have done a bit of good.

Have you ever seen a real street fight? No rules, just do whatever it takes.

But this wasn't a street fight. Look at the vid again, the police was grabbing the 1st woman's arm, she was trying to get free (resisting arrest looks like it), the 2nd one tried to help her to get free, and she did push the police man, but it was no fight...

The 2 woman were upset, and their goal was to get free, not inflict harm on the police. Not to run. They just wanted to argue, *****, scream.

I'm no police, but that's how I see it. The guy, after getting pushed, should have said clearly that they're both under arrest, and put their hands on the car (which he might have done previously, not shown by video...)

Then, if no reaction, he could have grabbed one, put her on the car, and cuff her. Simply by grabbing one of her arms from the wrist, but in her arm in her back, and put her on the hood car... Physically, with strength... Cuff her. If the other attacks him during that time, or something then he has a problem.

Which raises the point, why was he alone? Did he call for backup? If he didn't, he definitely should have, and could have simply waited for his backup to arrive so that another officer to handle the 2nd woman if he was not able to do so by himself, without actually having to resort to physical violence and punching them...

Calling backup is especially important if he think he'll have problems doing the arrests by himself. The situation could have been handled much better imho.

It's always easy to Monday morning QB situations like these. One of many reasons I gave up my goal of becoming a cop after I get out of the military. No matter what you do, it will always offend someone.
