Help! My mind's eye just went blind. The thought of seeing Alex crawl around on the floor with his plummer's crack sticking out must have blown a fuse.:(

Sorry A. I just couldn't let that one slip past without making some kind of rude remark.

Hey Walt,
Glad that it worked out. Hope you get to enjoy it for a long time before the upgradous bug bites again.
I was actually thinking of getting a hold of you and for you stop by, since you're only about a 1/2 hour from Ellenville. Would have been nice to meet another AH. Maybe one of these day's when you're riding your HOG on 209.

I would like that. Sold the HOG though. :(
Maybe I can talk Alex into coming out to help me drag that sub I'm building upstairs. Does anyone like Philippino food?

Balut huh? The treat with feet. I'm more of an egg roll guy. Those suckers are good, but a lot of work to make. She won't make them unless I help.
The wife speakes Tagalog, but Visian is her first language. She's from the south.

No. I'm too busy eating everything in sight. I was gonna give some away but I changed my mind. I can do this ... 2 lbs at a time ... only 28 lbs to go. Oh are they ever good. :)

Walter, give this a read regarding that weird thing your processor does in that Room Resonance thing on the menu. At least I think it applies.

I'm not so sure that it would, Alex. The thing I was talking about is like a big, broad paintstroke of an EQ, and something that is named "Room Resonance" sounds more like a single band, or maybe a couple/few band type of cut EQ. Totally out of my butt on that, but that would be my guess.

Tell me the name of the processor, and I'll see what I can dig up.

It's a B&K something or another. I'm not even sure anymore what the feature was in the menu setting but I'm wanting to push Walter in the general direction of wondering about it and reading his manual. Plunging off a cliff starts with a single step. ;)

I am little overwhelmed how good my old system sounds. It's like listening to a new sound system. I guess I had some mess here. Everything was just way off. I found out how little I know when it comes to HD till Alex showed up and pointed things out to me. Although I have been at this since the 60's I had a learning experience that's for sure. Alex did a great job and I thank him for it to drive 4 hours each way to help out a fellow AH to get the most out of his system. First I was thinking what does he have in mind about rearranging my livingroom, I was'nt to crazy about that thought but everything worked out for the better. Living room actually looks a little bigger now. I left work early to share a few pictures and enjoy a few sounds since the complex is empty. My wife even commented and said "this sounds good" is Alex a professional installer.

Here is Alex hard at work. I had some wire management here, I think we ended up with at least 40 extra connectors, every thing got stream lined. 12 gauge wire (courtesy of Alex) all the way around.

I asked him if he was up to this and he said "I can do this with my eyes" closed.

Lets start with the center speakers. BTW I changed that foam with the foam from the waffle cones. I am just going to post some more pictures and I am sure Alex is gonna fill you all in.

The only change I have made against Alex's recommentation is that I hooked up the other sub to the display only. When I watch tv I like a little bass with it and the speakers from the tv, just gives it a little extra flavor.

Surround towers.

Under couch rear surrounds, not a bad idea.

Last thing we did was remounting the display. I was lucky this thing did'nt come off, I missed one stud just by a hair. I must sound like an idiot. This thing is Alex proof. He did a pull-up on it and it did'nt pudge. So it's good.
Thanks again for everything.
