:mad:Just checked the tour dates of the Canadian leg - they aren't coming any further east than Ontario! Grrrrr...
Windsor (Davemcc's backyard) and then Belleville, Ont about 1.5 hrs east of me..... Ticket pricing is very reasonable for this show...would've to convince the wife though...she is not a huge fan...

Figures....

They were just here in Melbourne at the King Center on April 30th :(

I'll see if I can swing the September show in Tampa when they appear with Tom Petty.

I've never been to Ironstone, but I took a look at the site earlier. Looks cool. And if Jamie is hooking up the tickets...well...maybe I could swing by
Murphy's is awesome!! Went caving there about 6 months ago. I got stuck and thought I was gonna die in that damn cave, but that's a story for another time.

We toured Ironstone. That place is beautiful. If you've never been to Murphy's, you really should go. It's a quaint little nowhere town, with a TON of wine tasting rooms along the main street.

Never been to Murphy's, but have camped in the Angel's Camp area many times. Beautiful country.

I am a sound engineer..........
Do you do FOH, monitors, or what?

When you're here for Summerfest, take some time to check out the grounds. I think you're gonna like that place. Too bad you go on at 7:30- someone I know is opening for Jeff Beck and I'm expecting Greg to have some guests, especially since he does clinics for Fender all over the world and a lot of the big names will be at the Crossroads Festival.

Check out the schedule at www.summerfest.com

It runs for 11 days and I went 10 days in '04. It's good to have Summerfest as a local event, some years. Sometimes, a lot of the best acts aren't touring, so the talent isn't the best but this will be one of the best years I can remember. I can't believe Savoy Brown goes on at 3:00. Last time they were here, they opened for Wishbone Ash, at 8PM.

Did you just move to that area? I'm in MKE and even I know the locals call that 'Kentuckiana'.
Nope, lived here all of my life. You know the old saying "There is no place like home"..........LOL!!!!!! You are correct with it being called Kentuckiana! ;):p;)

If you let him in your booth ... we're done. :D

...would have to convince the wife though...
Leave her at home. What do you need her for?

Nice! Is that Midas an old XL4? What will you be using for this tour?

Awesome gig, btw. Sometimes I think I should have pursued that career instead of getting a degree in marketing. (live sound and I go back to when I was 15) Looks like the closest show to me is the Clearfield, PA date in August. A bit of a drive but I'm tempted.

Here are tour dates for ZZ Top, for anyone's convenience (dunno if it's been posted already, forgive me):

Jamie, where have you not been? You must have enough frequent flyer miles to take your family for free, first class, Singapore Airlines, around the world 5x in a row!:D
