Went to see this movie yesterday afternoon not expecting much. I didn't know anything about it at all before I went except for reading a couple reviews which were positive. I came away completely surprised. Incredibly violent and not for the faint of heart. Started out a little slow, but really picked up about 1/2 way through. Excellent movie.

Agree

We went to see it using the excuse that we wanted to check it out to see if we could take the grandkids to see it.

It's deinitely not for kids.

It's got elements of Spiderman, Kill Bill, Lucky Number Slevin, various teen-age nerd/angst movies and a heckuva lot of violence, gore, a bit of child-unfriendly language...and Nick Cage doing a William Shatner/Batman schtick. Ik's all blended together with with a bit of hokum and an unbelieviable plot but it does result in an extermely entertaining superhero sendup/fantasy.

They do leave it open for a sequel and, if they do it right, it couls be welcome.

Gotta love that little girl.

Dang... Not available via Netflix. I'm always up for a good, violent movie.
