We went to see it using the excuse that we wanted to check it out to see if we could take the grandkids to see it.
It's deinitely not for kids.
It's got elements of Spiderman, Kill Bill, Lucky Number Slevin, various teen-age nerd/angst movies and a heckuva lot of violence, gore, a bit of child-unfriendly language...and Nick Cage doing a William Shatner/Batman schtick. Ik's all blended together with with a bit of hokum and an unbelieviable plot but it does result in an extermely entertaining superhero sendup/fantasy.
They do leave it open for a sequel and, if they do it right, it couls be welcome.
Gotta love that little girl.
