Well I'm shameless when it comes to loving you
I'd do anything you want me to
I'd do anything at all

And I'm standing here for all the world to see
There ain't that much left of me
That has very far to fall

You know I'm not a man who has ever been
Insecure about the world I've been living in
I don't break easy, I have my pride
But if you need to be satisfied

I'm shameless, baby I don't have a prayer
Anytime I see you standing there
I go down upon my knees

And I'm changing, I swore I'd never compromise
But you convinced me otherwise
I'll do anything you please

You see in all my life I've never found
What I couldn't resist, what I couldn't turn down
I could walk away from anyone I ever knew
But I can't walk away from you

I have never let anything have this much control over me
Cause I worked too hard to call my life my own
Yes I made myeself a world and it worked so perfectly
But it's your world now, I can't refuse
I never had so much to lose
I'm shameless...shameless

You know it should be easy for a man who's strong
To say he's sorry or admit when he's wrong
I've never lost anything I ever missed
But I've never been in love like this...

It's out of my hands

I'm shameless, shameless as a man can be
You can make a total fool of me
I just wanted you to know

I am shameless
Shameless
Shameless...

Is this guy serious?

http://forums.av123.com/showpost.php?p=762689&postcount=3

Do you think it's tongue in cheek sarcasm..or that he just doesn't get understand that the majority of folks that helped keep that place going either have all been banned from over there or they no longer chooses to post because they can't believe anything being said because of all the lies and deceit that has been hoisted upon the people there by the owner, and don't want to be associated with him anymore?

Maybe he is looking to get banned as well ?

Sad...so sad...

No, my post wasn't serious. It was tongue in cheek sarcasm. I am no longer a "follower" of AV123. I am well aware of the reasons why most don't participate on their forum anymore.

I was not trying to get banned. But if it happens that's ok.

Move along, there is nothing to see here... The censorship crew paid a visit.

Blimey, I didn't expect the Spanish Inquisition

I'm confused why they have a "forum" at all. No one posts (wonder why). The people who do post get their posts deleted. Anyone who cared has been banned. They've desecrated a company that was entirely word of mouth.
If they had played it differently by condemning mark, making him resign and posting about it they might still have a following. Instead they decided to ban everyone, delete all their content, act like big brother, alienate their entire community, and pretend nothing ever happened. It's like a case study in idiocy and ineptitude.
Mark's signature still reads founder and president. Maybe it should read flounderer and piss-ant.

Call it a "lost leader" if you must, whatever... a carrot dangling out there, an attractive hand tied fly, whatever, to attract many new entry level, budget minded, potential "audiophiles" to get them hooked and into the family. We know how "loyal" many AV123 speaker owners are and have been... and many still are. I hate the word "fanboys" but we are "fans" if we've checked prices and know that we've finally got a great deal and we're really pleased with out little speakers -- we can say, "finally I've great little speaker that I could afford and that I can enjoy and brag about and show off to friends and family -- that I'm not ashamed of, even though I know it's a budget speaker -- then we stick around with company and become "fans -- men and women".
Although, I truly don't think its Mark, its amazing how "Larry" has Mark's "writing" style "down". 7 quotes in 3 sentences (albeit run-ons)? Does that set some kind of record?

It is transferring to another site with the same style and flavor...although it shall not be named. :)

Fanpersons. Cripe, that's even worse!

But that's not unique to AV123. Every speaker maker that I know that has a forum on the internet has their own fans. Loyal fans. Diehard fans. Dedicated fans. Happy fans -- just like us. Problem is (I mean for "our" company) is that they stay there in that family, just like we stay here in our family
Maybe someone that still hangs out over there should ask good ole Larry..how he can brag about a speaker made by a guy who lies to his friends..and uh.."family members" and steals money from those same ..uh "family members" and then still look his own friends and family members in the eye when getting excited about another speaker being discussed by mls ? Look out...I'm gonna hurl.....

Here is a similar case regarding the solicitation of charity donations and pocketing the cash in the state of Colorado. Similar numbers to the indictment as well. 626 victims, $95,000, the scheme was ran over multiple years. However in this case the charities were non-existent (would that even matter anyways if the money was not going to the charity in question?). I guess there would be a different penalty for using a real charities name to solicitate fraudulent charity donations. According to this article the pair of individuals could face up to 16 years in prison.

Similar crime, similar time?

DENVER -- Colorado Attorney General John Suthers announced today that a Broomfield County District Court judge has sentenced Danny Troy Kleiman (DOB: 2/17/1964) and David Dale Werkmeister (DOB: 9/14/1964) each to 16 years in prison in connection with a scheme to solicit thousands of dollars in charitable donations for nonexistent charities. Both men also were ordered to pay $95,680.03 in restitution to their victims.

And that sentence was on a plea deal. They handed them the max sentence possible under that arrangement. Same DA as well.

I think I'll PM "Larry" and see how long it takes to get banned. :D

I would like to see Richeydog's post.
It wasn't much. I was just making an observation of how the forum used to be to what it is now.

I cannot recall word for word but it was something like this:

"Interesting. Mark Schifter make his first appearance since the indictment and not one person has made a post. In the past, when he would announce product lines, there would be numerous responses and forum banter that would ensue. And now, nothing but silence".
