I added the wi-fi card and a flash card reader scavenged out of my old Dell.

Probably the biggest difference is I wadded up the unused power cables and stuck them in the empty bay atop the external drives

Nice build, but a bit overkill for me as a HTPC (then again, I'm not really a gamer). Are you using this for gaming and movies? As a regular desktop connected to your HT setup?

All in all, $700 bucks isn't bad depending on what you are using it for. For just movies, it is a lot, but for games/dvd ripping/video editting, seems very solid.
