A Vincent CD S6 Hybrid Tube CD Player (HDCD) for sale, in the beautiful black finish. This player is a year and a half old. It functions perfectly and looks beautiful! I take very good care of my gear. I also have some extra tubes current production tubes, which I can include in the deal.......free of charge. Just to sweeten the deal...a little. Maybe I'll throw in a RCA NOS tube or two, also 8)

This player uses ... 1-12AX7, 1-6922/6dj8 and 1-12AU7 in the front panel (the 12au7 is strictly for the headphone circuits).



My Selling price is to $850.00 USD


I am located in Kannapolis, NC 28081


I have the original box, remote, Manual and all connection wires that were included.


It originally retailed roughly in the $1,500 USD , brand new.

I will pay for standard shipping (of buyer's choice) and Insurance. Any requests by the Buyer for quicker shipping (Overnight, Next Day, 2nd Day...etc), will require the buyer pay the difference in shipping cost between standard shipping and what ever faster shipping method prefered.

I will ship only to North America. Buyers from Canada will be required to split the shipping costs with me.

I will only accept United States Postal Service Money Orders (or Canada Post Money Orders). If the buyer feels unsure/insecure about sending a money order; I will knock off $25.00 from the price, so the buyer can send the money order by " Registered Mail".

Selling so I can save and then buy new Vincent Premuim Line CD-S8, which is much more expensive.

Hi.
Is this CDP still available?
I am looking for a player with variable output that I can connect to my Rogue monoblocks. I have seen reviews that mention this option but none that used it. The Vincent site doesn't specify it. I see volume controls on remote and face of unit but am not sure if they control output to headphone and/or amplifiers.

Thanks for any info you can provide. I am interested in buying if it will allow me to remove preamp from system.

The S6 can be used without a pre amp, but the output level can only be controlled through the Remote Control.

The volume knob on the faceplate is for the headphone jack, only.

I'venever tried it without a pre amp, so I can't tell you how it sounds that way. But it is made to work that way, as well as with a pre amp.
