FS: Integra DPS-10.5 Universal Disc Player

I have a two year old Integra DPS 10.5 Universal Disc Player for sale. This player has seen very limited use and is in great working condition and aesthetic condition. It plays CDs, DVD-Audio, SACD, DVD-Video, CD-R, CD-RW, DVD-R/RW and several other types of formats. Video is beautiful! Audio sounds wonderful!


I have the orginal box, remote, Manual and all connection wires that were included.

The reason you are probably having a hard time unloading the unit is because the Onkyo clone (SP1000) of the unit you are selling was available for around $1200 brand new a while back....I know I picked one up. Absolutely love it. It truly is superb for video and audio. Additionally, with the High Def DVD formats, its hard for folks to justify paying over $1K for a standard def (albeit upscaling) unit. I personally think it is superb for audio and hope others realize this.

I think it should also be noted that while the two players (sp1000 and DPS 10.5) are similar in a lot of ways; they are not the same exact players.

The DPS 10.5 Integra is the superior player and it's performance supports that.

And you're correct, the DPS 10.5 is superb audio performer!! DVD-Audio, SACD and Redbook CD are outstanding in two channel and in multi-channel!!!

You should hear The Roy Brown Trio (Soular Energy) on DVD-Audio and SACD through this player!!! Unbelievable! It's as if the band is right there in your room. Fleetwood Mac's Rumours album will blow you away! It sounds so gooooooooooooood!

I have no way of confirming whether it does PAL, or not. I'll have to try and find a PAL disc to test it out.

Hi again Tony:
I've just received my dv-sp1000. It turns out that the Onkyo technicians don't know their products 100%.
The dv-sp1000 does play and output both PAL and NTSC discs.
What the technicians misunderstood was that the manual states the North American version can't convert a NTSC disc and output it in PAL(in case the your tv doesn't support NTSC). However it does play both formats without any problems.

So I'm sorry that I have to back down on your otherwise great player. I would of course have preferred the Integra. If I had just seen your ad before I bought the Onkyo, which I got very cheap, it would have been different.

My Integra DPS 10.5 is no longer available for sale. I've decided to keep it.

The only reason I was selling it was because I am saving for a McIntosh
MVP871 Universal Disc player, for my living room HT system. But now I have saved almost enough money; so I will be ready to buy in another two weeks or so.

So I'm keeping the Integra DPS 10.5 in my 2 channel home office
system for strictly SACD and DVD-Audio.

It's just not worth selling it for such a low price.

This is a $2,500 MSRP, high-quality player and even as low as I brought the price down, I continued to get people trying to talk me down in price and lowball me. Amazing.
