Bill Evans "You Must Believe in Spring" . The first time I heard Pat Metheny and Lyle Mays "September 15th" on their "As Falls Wichita so Falls Wichita Falls" album, I thought it was an extraordinaire piece of music, I also noticed it was dedicated to Bill Evans who I never heard of before (this was 18 years ago), so a few years ago when I started to get more into jazz, I came across some of his CDs and now I certainly have a better understanding of Evan's influence on PMG, especially on Lyle Mays. This guy was a genius and I'm glad I have the chance to listen to his great music. This CD is pure magic, I highly recomend it.

The very best of "Supertramp"
I figured a little change from "Floyd" would do me good.

Both of these are incredible, but Meddle is a landmark album... "One of These Days" must be one of the best things ever made :D

Now you made me listen to Pink Floyd at 07:12 in the morning
LOUD in a poorly insulated hotel room :p

Found an a demo MP3 of Still Aroused by my favorite band LIVE!

Still Aroused. One of their very best songs. I played about 5 times in a row. I had it so loud that one of my surrounds shimmied off the stand. Luckily is fell on the couch!

Late night and I need to be silent.... listening to music, drinking beer after a fight .....
My girlfriend is so exceedingly pissed off for nothing ......

Using my Nokia N96 with AKG k430 headphones
Can't use the Squuezebox and Benchmark DAC1 due to network issues :(

And sound quality of thes things are horrible.... even if I converted from FLAC to MP3 in quite high bitrate

Ohhhh.... I need to get my DAC1 back up to life

Wonder if it's the N96 or K430 that's crap, or perhaps both of them, I don't think the mp3's are so bad (although I always rip everything in FLAC lossless format using Exact Audio Copy....)

I scored a relatively hard to find album, Paul Butterfield's Blues Band, "East West" album in pretty good shape considering it'sover 40 years old. This blues album, particuklarily teh song East vs West has been credited for giving birth to the genre of rock called Phsycadelic. I recommend this album to anyone who cna get their hands on it. It truly is an all time great album.

Listening to a Modest Mouse album called No One's First and You're Next through a pair of Shure 440 headphones. Love this album, especially the song Guilty Cocker Spaniels.

How is it? Have you heard, or know if his rendition of the 3rd is supposed to be good? I've thought about trying out the 3rd/Abbado on bluray . . .

I really like this one. I have CSO/Solti and the Abbado rendition blows the Solti away.

I wasn't even aware he recorded the third with Chicago. The only audio I can find comes in a boxset.
