Following the model set by Warner Home Video early this year (see Blu-ray.com, January 6), Netflix has struck deals with Universal Studios Home Entertainment and 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment covering the distribution of new release DVD and Blu-ray titles from both studios at Netflix. Those will be made available to Netflix members after a 28-day window, giving the studios a dedicated time period for sales.
I also read an article that Redbox was polling their customers about whether or not they would be interested in a streaming service!

Netflix blows. I get my new releases from BB usually within a couple of weeks of them coming out.

Yeah, but they are edited :p I don't expect I will rent from BB again anytime soon.
I did notice that a couple of BD's I've rented lately said "rental" on them. Also, there were no supplements on the discs, just the movie only. No big deal though. I wonder if the movies I've seen were indeed edited. If they were, it's not like I knew.

It's the not knowing that irks me ... and one thing I do know is that they cut out the good stuff.
