You do realize that there is more than one meaning of "down low", correct?

1) Keeping it on the "down low" implies some sort of secret.

2) On the "down low" can also imply something to do with a male/male relationship.

But, I guess in your case ...

3) "Down Low" implies to sub-20Hz.

It is a superior sub, but I wouldn't say the gap is enormous, but the AXIS tech is better than the w7 from a linearity perspective.

The Axis and 13w7 are extremely comparable as far as engineering is concerned.... Both are at the top of the heap when excursion and ultimate control and linearity are concerned... they are both very capable and perform best when thrown into a small sealed enclosure...

SQ is excellent - truly amongst the best possible.......

Output of the 15" Axis will prevail and those drivers can sustain more power as well...

I have the same driver (mine is titanium) in a smaller box and it has easily handled 4000w, and will likely take more.

You would be hard pressed to aquire a better driver - aside from the LMS by TC-Sounds. This Sub will perform as well or better then the New Paradigm Sub 25 for what - 1/4th or 1/5th the price....

Anyone considering an F112, F113 or Paradigm Sub 15 or 25 - I can honestly say this DIY sub will easily match or outperform them....

I have actually spent a little time listening to this set up in The Dawg House. I don't want to start gushing about how great it sounded but I will say that it totally smoked a $3,000 Velodyne sub that I listened to at Tweeter years ago ... and it's the nicest set up for bass that I have ever heard ... honest.

I wouldn't let that enclosure slip out of my hands either ... .
