Well, after watching last nights episode of LOST left me with one thought: what a weird episode. Not sure what to think to be be quite candid. Of course, the same can be said regarding the entire plot. I still find myself with more questions than answers. Perhaps, that is the intention rather than the exception. Anybody here have a decent take of last nights episode? If so, I would love to hear it. Right now, I am in a state of flux.

Anybody here have a decent take of last nights episode? If so, I would love to hear it.

Here's what I think... The last episode of Lost was billed as one that would answer a bunch of questions. It merely raised more.

We're starting to wonder if JJ will allow the series to end with tons of unanswered questions as well. Each week we are losing confidence that they will be able to truly wrap this up neatly.

Has anyone actually analyzed the commercial content? We all swear that there are almost more commercials than show. There can't be more than 35 minutes of show in the hour.

Exactly Clint. It is beginning to look like we will be left with lots of unanswered questions. I suppose it is what the viewer takes from it so to speak. Personally, I don't like that kind of thing too well. It is also good to see that there are more commercials than actual programming. Been that way for a while now and it seems to be getting worse. I bet there isn't even 35-minutes of actual programming material. The good thing is there are 10 episodes left with a 2-hour season finale. Perhaps, we will get some answers. Until then, I will remain quite anxious as to how it all is going to end.

Well, after viewing this weeks episode of LOST has left me once again with more questions. One thing is for sure, both Claire and Sayid have turned changed. So far, the Smoke Monster has done what he says he will, but the real question is how much longer will he be allowed to do so? My guess is not much longer. This is about all I got out of the last episode. Anyone else have a different take on last weeks episode? I , for one, would love to hear it. The reason being, I am quite confused about how things are unfolding thus far in the final season.

Folks, any of you have a theory about last weeks episode? I mean, the Smoke Monster has destroyed the temple and gathered a few followers. Also noticed the Smoke Monster gave Kate a hard look as she was coming out of the temple. It seemed he was a bit shocked to see that. So, does that mean the Smoke Monster is going to target Kate now? If so, how does all of that fit into the grand scheme of things? Any ideas &/or theories?

Also noticed the Smoke Monster gave Kate a hard look as she was coming out of the temple.

Maybe he like everybody else wants to hold hands with her at recess.

Seems like he needs the candidates killed so that the island system stops and he can be set free. Since he can't kill them himself he might be wanting to persuade her to do his bidding ...

LOL.............good one Alex. Thanks for the laugh. You may have a point with what is motivating the Smoke Monster. What puzzles me is that one second he seems "good", then the next he is "evil". That leaves me trying to figure out who is good and who is bad. However, the Smoke Monster seemed to be very interested in naming Sawyer as the new protector of the island. So many questions yet so few answers. I bet it all ends with what you take from it all. In other words, many questions will not be fully answered. The guessing is what is making me crazy!

Folks we now know Sawyer or James shall I say is a cop. I admit, did not see that one coming. The question is, however, how does that fit into the grand scheme of things to come right? That is, I have noticed that Sawyer has changed a bunch. For one thing, he seems to be much more self centered as in getting off of the island. I actually thought he was a con man myself, but that looks like a role he played while being undercover so to speak. As such, I am very interested to see how it all plays out. Any other LOST fans here notice anything different or have any ideas as to what is really going on?

Well, I got a few questions answered after last nights episode of LOST. Both Sawyer and Miles were once cops. The island is what is called "Hell". Jacob is the protector of the island and the smoke monster is the devil. That explains why he wants to get off the island-you know to spread his evil. Granted the devil told Jacob he would find a loop-hole and kill him. However, when the devil chased the little kid into the jungle he told the devil he broke the rules. That, of course, begs the question will the devil face consequences for doing so AND if so how will they(consequences) fit into the ending of LOST? Anybody here have any ideas? Feel free to speak up as it is just for fun anyways.

That knife used to kill Jacob was only suppose to work if used before he spoke when it was given to Richard Alpert by the man in black and when it was given to Said to kill Locke ... and it didn't kill Locke presumably because he spoke first. So how come it killed Jacob after he spoke to Ben?

Oh wait ... something else. That time line is of everybody's lives if Farady's bomb fix worked way in the past. I will be so happy when this is over so that I can just not watch TV again.

Excellent points Alex. Like you, I am anxious to get my questions answered. However, really hate to see it all end. I bet there will be a movie or two to come out of this sooner or later. Who knows, it may be a great movie at that. I would, at the very least go see it and give it a chance.
