What the heck is a gold box?

Amazon runs specials daily, some only last a few hours or until the limited supply runs out, some all day. It's kind of similar to how Kmart would have a "Blue Light" special, but Amazon calls it "Gold Box." On the top of all pages on Amazon there is a link marked "Todays Deals" next to an icon of a gold box. Click that to see the daily specials.
