It was funny, I was actually rehearsing all day long and couldn't come up with the right words. As I was showering, for the night out, I decided to forget everything I had come up with and just say what I felt when I knelled down. I mean, I sell stuff for a living so how hard could it be?

The perfect words came out of my mouth. Afterward, she said said the night out and ring were great but nothing like what I said to her.
I'm not letting my wife read this thread - she'll just look at me and roll her eyes...

Did you two knee it or just one knee? Try to remember what you said. I may need those words one day.
If it's not too long of a spiel I'll buy it off you on a per word basis.

Dawg's Mariage Proposal !!!

...$29.99...

You plied her with alcohol ... admit it. :)
If you get down on both knees, it may arouse suspicions....;)

Hey, light return is a good thing!

She likes the vintage stuff. Easy for me to pick out, I just took her to the store with me.

Man, I tried to take a million pictures but couldn't get them to turn out as good as yours did. Any tips on taking a picture of something that flashes all the light back at the camera?
1. Set your camera to the Macro Setting
2. Set the auto-focus and metering to center-weighted
3. Use a tripod
4. Try to have a light colored background
5. Try diffuse lighting (I didn’t use a flash for my pictures)

A more in depth discussion of the topic can be found here.

Keep in mind my purpose for taking pictures was for personal records, it is not necessary the desired method for taking the most visually pleasing picture.

Again congrats, and good luck;)

Congrats, PD! I'd quip in and badger you a bit, but my fellow AH'ers haven't let this go by. :p

I wish you the best of luck! Not for marriage, but rather for getting the monkey hair out of your pool while you are in Antigua.

Congrats

Greg,

Congratulations. Get ready to sell your gear. Once you say "I Do", the I Do also means you agree to sell all your audio gear and before you know it, you'll be putting bose speakers up on the wall. If you are lucky, she might let you purchase Bang and Olufsen speakers since they typically pass the WAF...

Seriously though, congrats. Is this your first marriage?

Thanks Gregg and Warp.

Naw, we have both be married before. That's how I am getting away with a JP wedding but a nice honeymoon.

She hates Bose more than I do.
