I am a Pat Metheny Junkie as Gene could tell you, (one of the few things we agree on) and I have seen him live three times in FL, but I had never seen the Way Up concert. I just picked this up on HDDVD at newburys for 9 bucks and WOW!. It is an emotional experience to behold. This has got to be one of the finest musical performances I have yet seen aside from Zapa Plays Zapa and Steve Vai's "Where the Wild Things Are" I poured a beer and put in the cup holder, and 90 minutes later I realized I had not even taken a sip. That is a first for me. !!!
