I'm not sure, if this article is entirely correct, that it could possibly ever gain traction. I can't see the majority of people being willing to shell out a couple thousand for a tv, a thousand for a avr that can handle this, new hdmi cables, etc, etc...It's just not feasible for folks IMO. If it was just an addon to existing stuff for a few hundred bucks, sure. But not a total revamp of a person's home theater system at it's very core. Wow is all I can say.
