I have a adcom gcd-700, with no fuses. After searching the net for, and coming up with no answers I decided to do what i should have in the first place. come here.

My question is what are the fuse sizes, (I know there are two different types) and where do said fuses get placed.

I could work off a service manual but cant find a down- loadable one anywhere.
Are there any sites out there?

Thanks in advance,
Michael

What problems are you having that leads you to believe that there is a blown fuse?

If the unit is dead it could be a fuse, if it has one. If the unit is dead and there are no externally accessible fuses then open the case. Any fuses will be in line with the AC power cord receptacle and the power transformer.

If there are fuses remove them and test them with a continuity meter. If the fuse/fuses are blown, then the value will be on the fuse. Replace them. If the fuse blows right away, the unit needs service or recycling.
