Shock Audioholic General Feb 23, 2010 #23 In a few weeks we'll have pictures of crazy sideways rain soaking everything on that patio.
ParadigmDawg Audioholic Overlord Feb 23, 2010 #24 Correct..... It is freaking snowing right now. We should start a poll on how long the plasma will last out there. Shock said: In a few weeks we'll have pictures of crazy sideways rain soaking everything on that patio. Click to expand...

radridd Audioholic Feb 23, 2010 #28 Maybe the rain will keep the fire under control. I guess I could wait and send my Emotiva UMC-1 when it comes in. Then you would need an exterminator.

What she really wants is for you to get a new credit card without checking with her and buy a huge motherf^%&ing screen that she can be proud of to put outside. Trust me.

ParadigmDawg Audioholic Overlord Feb 24, 2010 #31 Alex is correct. It cost me about 8k to put the flat screen on the patio. $900 of that was for the plasma, that went into the bedroom, so I could use the old one for outside, $19 was for the MonoPrice wall mount, $9 was for cables, $45 was for an outdoor display cover to help protect it and the rest was a ring that she wanted and got "because I always get to do whatever I want..." Is it 'that' kind of ring? ... I mean congratulations. Whose idea was it for a wedding ring to have a diamond in it? Why couldn't it be something more affordable ... like pea gravel?

ParadigmDawg Audioholic Overlord Mar 2, 2010 #38 Just for the record, all you can see on the plasma during the day is the backyard as it is almost a perfect mirror when the sun is out. I was afraid that may be the case. Would one of those anti-glare shields help? - or is this going to be a nighttime display only?
