The main drivers are Peerless, Vifa and SEAS- nothing wrong with them and the 6-1/2" with truncated rim are what I have been working with- I like them a lot, so far. They're definitely not shy about the prices but if they can make enough sales, more power to them. The $400 center MPC-2009 has about $100 in drivers at retail, who knows what crossover and a box that may, or may not, be made in-shop. If it was, it's no big deal because they have been around for quite a while. The RC-2010 uses the same 6-1/2. The woofers look like Mitek (MTX) could have made them but I can't see a manufacturer code.
Parts Express and Madisound have the drivers used in their speakers, aside from the electrostatics.
I know someone who bought a sub box from him, for his boat. I don't think I have heard anything bad about them- doesn't his wife work there, too?
