I personally don't get the iPad. I will be happy to be wrong, but it seems very niche and lacks much of what could make it truly cool and flexible. Unless Apple is going to redefine what a computer is and we all switch to using HTML5 apps and thinking our thoughts into the screen in lieu of typing, I think it's safe to say this will have a finite shelf life before it morphs into something more powerful.
Jobs' next keynote: "We listened to our users and now release the iPad 2.0. It has a USB 3.0 port, Bluetooth 3.0 connectivity and a new speech recognition system that takes dictation like... well... (curtain reveal of the iPad taking dictation of everything Steve just said, perfectly formatted)... unlike anything else ever made!
