No I just do some homework and after that make my decision as to the truth, which it was not.

If you did your homework you would probably know that some advertisements are not necessarily chosen by the site. As Seth pointed out Google Ads will depend on the text of a page and your browsing history. Do some research on a candidate and Google might pick up on that. That is how Google makes money, with its sophisticated ad BS, clearly it doesn't work perfectly.

As far as "a group that distorts the truth" that is laughable, both (three if you count the new tea baggers) sides do it all the time to sway the uneducated masses, it is the dominate political model in this country.

I log in and I get a political ad against Scott Brown. Are you kidding me???? I thought that this place would just let members discuss things but not take money from a group that distorts the truth. This place, not the members, just lost all credability for me.

The term "tea baggers" was originally coined by the movement itself through use of the action "tea bag" as in "Let's tea bag the government." Later this term was co-opted by "far left neanderthals" as a derogatory term because of its sexually explicit second meaning. After this realization the movement shied away from the term "tea bagger" and toward the term "tea party."

Here is an example "TTea Bag the Fools in D.C.."

I should also point out that there is no longer a single "Tea Party," the movement is composed of a variety of separatist groups with differing goals that are even attacking each other.
