I'm shopping around for RCA audio cables, to serve as interconnects from my receiver's pre-outs to an external amp.
I read recommendations about using shielded, low-capacitance cables for this application and checked out Blue Jeans Cables. It looks amazing, but I'm on a tight budget for my upgrade, so I am looking for a compromise.
Python RCA audio cables look promising, and pricing seems like a bargain.
Specs I found are:
- oxygen free copper (OFC) cable with gold contacts
- spiral wound bare copper shielding against EMI/RFI interference
- low density foam dielectric.
- 24K gold plated heavy duty RCA connectors - color coded.
Can these be considered "audiophile-grade" cables? Does anyone have any experience with Python RCA audio cables?
