Another one by Son Volt, their new "American Central Dust". This is a nicely somber, rootsy, quiet rocker/accoustic set.

Tindersticks, Another night in and Rented rooms... from the album Curtains

I have never heard about this group until two days ago when a friend tipped me about them.... :p:p:p:p

This is so good that you cannot stop listening, this runs just over and over again :cool:

You just have to check this out.... this music is absolutely 200% unbelievable

The Album Curtains, By Tindersticks has been running almost non stop for close to a week now... and the music, and lyrics, and the rhythms... and most of all... the voice of the vocalist, wooooooooooooooooooooow :cool::cool:

I'm really enjoying The XX album right now. It's very nicely recorded. Checked it out after seeing it on so many critic's Top 10 lists.

Mr. Children "Brand New My Lover" from my Japanese collection of albums. Just enjoying the visceral "sonic violence" of it all tonight...

Everything But The Girl "Amplified Heart", "The Language of Life" and "Walking Wounded" . "Driving" was the song that got me hooked. It had been a while since I last listened to them I had almost forgotten Tracey Thorn's amazing voice and the excellent musicians that took part on the "The Language of Life" CD, Stan Getz (R.I.P.), Michael Brecker (R.I.P.), John Patitucci, Vinnie Colaiuta among others great performers.

Currently listening to Breaking Benjamin - Dear Agony. They will be playing here in January with Three Days Grace and Flyleaf. I'm thinking about going to the show.

I've been listening to outtakes from my favorite band, LIVE!

I got some great versions of Overcome and Where Fishes Go and some unreleased b side kinda stuff.

Another great by the master of the eccentric...Tom Waits' new live CD "Glitter and Doom". These are songs we have heard before but they mostly sound different from their studio versions. That's one of the great things about Tom. He never seems to do a song twice the same way. These are especially dark and growly, even by Tom Waits standards.
