I see my PM but I don't see an email address to send money to.
Please let me pay you already so that Jerry Love can make his offer. :D
You're holding up my net gain! :)

I'm just messing around. Does anybody know what the 2200 crosses a small speaker at?
Come in j_garcia ... do you read? :) ... okay ... how about Seth? :)

Yeah, and then Seth charged the buyer like $6,000 for shipping. :D

I do not need this player. I have a Blu-ray bumping out my Denon DVD 1920 but I sort of couldn't resist because of how much I like the 1920 and I suspected that the 2200 crossed at 80 Hz as opposed to the 1920's 100Hz. The video quality on my 1920 has made me quite happy in the past. I think the 2200 is suppose to be a step up from there ... but I still don't know what I am going to do with it. :)

Is it there, yet? :D
Matter of fact it got here today. The manual is shockingly thick like a phone book but it's in French and Espanol in case I decide to go for multilingual poor translation of presumably Indian speaking tech writers that Denon uses to write that jibberish that only MDS understands anyways.

I guess the part about original box got overlooked but that's alright. I'm just happy to get the 12' Monster 2cv cable. That is some sexy wire. It was packed in a Denon AVR 1907 box though ... :D

... the shipping on this was $15.51 so Gov got ~$41 out of it. Does anybody remember what these sold for new?

It seems ridiculous that it was $599 back then and now it nets you $41 after throwing in what is probably over $100 worth of cable.

I think I may need to buy an old 720p Pioneer just so that I can test this thing out on. I hate messing with the main system. How long do you think it'll take me to hook up the BD60?

I'm still not sure why I bought it. Nor do I understand why he sold it. I guess he doesn't know anybody that he could have given it to. All his other gear is nice-nice and he's sold stuff here before so it's not like he needed the $41 for crack. I guess this model is older than the 1920? ... no HDMI. I think it's cool because it's kind of heavy.

Davemcc was right about me maybe having a thing for antiquated gear.
I'm certainly thinking about taking it apart. :)

Of course, what self respecting audioholic wouldn't take it apart?!

Not that you deserve any more respect, even if it's from yourself!:D

I don't know what to say about the cross-over point, I'd guess 80hz as it's the standard, but don't hold me too that. I guess you'll have to translate the manual.:D

about ten minutes.
I've already spent 10x that agonizing over having to pull my gear apart and I have instruction-phobia-mania. I hate reading manuals because they make me feel like a monkey but I read them to feel less like a monkey.

This will go to my quote box!
I am deeply honored. :)

Glad it arrived in one piece!! Yes, I did not need the "crack" money for this one :D Yeah, these players were a MINT when they were brand new, so needless to say, I bought that one used a couple of years ago.
And yes, I did not have anyone to give it to and no longer needed it! I mean afterall, who the hell wants a DVD player these days :D:D:D:p
