Is it there, yet?
Matter of fact it got here today. The manual is shockingly thick like a phone book but it's in French and Espanol in case I decide to go for multilingual poor translation of presumably Indian speaking tech writers that Denon uses to write that jibberish that only MDS understands anyways.
I guess the part about original box got overlooked but that's alright. I'm just happy to get the 12' Monster 2cv cable. That is some sexy wire. It was packed in a Denon AVR 1907 box though ...
... the shipping on this was $15.51 so Gov got ~$41 out of it. Does anybody remember what these sold for new?

It seems ridiculous that it was $599 back then and now it nets you $41 after throwing in what is probably over
$100 worth of cable.
I think I may need to buy an old 720p Pioneer just so that I can test this thing out on. I hate messing with the main system. How long do you think it'll take me to hook up the BD60?
I'm still not sure why I bought it. Nor do I understand why he sold it. I guess he doesn't know anybody that he could have given it to. All his other gear is nice-nice and he's sold stuff here before so it's not like he needed the $41 for crack. I guess this model is older than the 1920? ... no HDMI. I think it's cool because it's kind of heavy.
Davemcc was right about me maybe having a thing for antiquated gear.
I'm certainly thinking about taking it apart.
