Who was it that had the NHTs for sale a few months back? I can't find them now.

The only one that I remember is the one that Craig linked to.

How much are NHTs worth to you? :)

But that wasn't the thread. I had asked him if he thought they would hold up in the Texas heat if I used them in my garage.

Not sure what they are worth to me. I am just looking for some good deals to build an inexpensive, 1st system for the nephew.

Thanks.

I may be the only one left in the world that hasn't ever used EBay so I don't really know how it works.
Those are nice but they will hit will over a grand before it ends. I did a completed listings search on ebay and the 5 sets that sold this month all went for over 1400 bucks.

I am thinking of a 2.2 system.

Bookshelves on top of subs.
Yeah, too expensive.

Christmas gift for your nephew?:D

I had some NHT SuperZero for awhile, and they sounded pretty good with a NHT Sub.

Are you looking at 2.0 or 5.1 Ch?

You pretty much need a PayPal account. Your payment can be your credit card paid via PayPal. When you are the buyer, PayPal does not charge you the PayPal fees. They only charge the Seller the fees.

I've sold like 20+ things on eBay. I've bought like 10 things on eBay.

Just make sure you buy from someone who has awesome ratings.:D

Greg, you don't need a PayPal account to buy something on eBay. You don't even need an account the first time or two (if I recall correctly). I don't have a PayPal account - I just pay with my credit card via PayPal (it just comes up as an option when I go to the payment page).

There's a pair of NHT 1.5s on there for $150 + $25/shipping (no bids, yet). I passed on some mint 1.5s in piano black a couple of months ago in the $200 range (they would match my two pairs of 1.5s), but the pair on their now is the darker wood veneer. Those were a bit more expensive when new and, IMO, look quite sharp. I think that the speakers are excellent. A sub isn't required for music, but it would be a nice plus because their low end is rated at 53 Hz at -3dB.

Too bad he didn't post a couple months back. I sold the entire 5.1 set (2.5i,AC1,1.1,SW2 w/Amp) $500. They were in great condition.
Yeah, but weren't yours local pickup only? That was a smokin' deal that someone got on your speakers, btw!

I actually delivered them to the local UPS store and the buyer paid them to pack and ship. Totaling $380 for packing and shipping.
