Sorry...I can't help ya there. Considering the panny is only $130, I wouldn't sweat the decision too much. Get the Panny.......if you don't like it, trade it in.

The BD60 doesn't have Netflix, so doesn't fit the original request.

I hope that Panasonic will add it over firmware, but they haven't, yet.

Sorry Adam, I understand now thanks for clarifying. I was thinking NetFlix disc, not instant --My Bad.

No bad there at all, Forest. Maybe you interpreted it correctly. I just thought the OP meant streaming.

I went with the LG BD370 but it requires a wired network connection (I used a bridge). If that's not available then you may need to bust your budget and go with the BD390 with built in 802.11N.

I like my Samsung

I bought a Samsung Blu-ray 1590 for $159.00 at Sam's Club, and I'm very happy with it. It streams a great picture from Netflix with my Wireless G Router. My only complaint is that the remote doesn't support my older model panasonic plasma tv, so I just have to juggle another remote.

Another thought ..

Xbox360 with Xbox Gold will stream Netflix :) Good PQ with component video connection and whie/red RCA audio.

No BD, but you get a gaming system ;)

It would be hard to wrong with this for only $200.

Which model is best depends on you. IMO
Not trying to hijack this thread but I afraid my current Panny BD might be toast, so the idea of a new BD player with NetFlix streaming is very intriguing to me. The Sony BD that Buck_Eye mentions above provides streaming but only has an Ethernet connection. What is needed to connect wirelessly back to a router in another room ?

I guess the other option is the LG BD390 that Sholling mentioned; it has wireless.

Thanks,

Forest Man

Can the Wireless G router connect back to another router that is connected to the Internet?

You got a blu-ray player why not just get them to send you the better quality disc.:p

Yes configure it as a bridge in AD HOC mode.

Samsung offers a wireless ready at Sam's for $129; look nice. However, the Samsung wireless LAN card is $71.

If thefirmware doesn't fix the Panny i think I am going to get the LG-BD390 from NewEgg for $259. ( price will be less if I time it right).

'Forest Man, Thanks for the answer'

I use a standalone Roku player for all my streaming.. (Netflix, Amazon, Pandora, etc.). That way I am not tied to any other component for those services.
But it is an additional $99. So for $230 you could get it all, including a very good basic player.
I know 'internet' players and now displays are becoming popular, but I am not that sold on them. Personal choice.
