I'm not judging Catholics. I was baptized Catholic. I'm simply telling a story.

I still have that darn two-year-old attitude when it comes to physical possessions. "Mine, mine." Once I own something, it's tough for me to part with it. It's not rational, either. I'll buy my parents a laptop, but I'll get all freaked out about the possibility that a coffee cup might get scratched when my dad clinks it against something. Stupid.

I can't say that I have any stories like that, and I grew up Catholic. I don't recall ever meeting any Catholics that used God as a way of getting something for free.

I was just referring to the whole, "if it feels good, it's a sin" mentality. That's partially a joke, but it's rooted in reality. I'm not trying to bash Catholics (as I have a great deal of respect for people who are Catholic), but it's not really my thing.

I think the guilt thing is largely universal. At least with most folks I've met.

I'm considering opening a thread in the Classified section where I sell reputation points so you know I'll stoop to pretty much any level to make a buck but with Adam I think he'll bring in more as a rental item. Buying him outright would be cost prohibitive in the economy yet the need for his skill set is high and people can't do without. Maybe $50/lb for a week. 140 lbs, $700 + shipping and 3% to cover paypal fees. Deal?
