What the hell happened to the Steelers? They were losing 13-0 when I left the gym last night, and the Browns were running the ball at will. To lose to the Browns?!?!? That's crazy.
Multiple reasons. The best saftey in the game has had injuries, very much the backbone of what that defense does. The steelers do not have an offensive line, big ben's concussions plus speculative friction occuring among players adds up.

Miami has taken the bug hard too, but they are still very much in the running out east.

Two different teams, vastly different styles. The only thing they have in common is they both run the ball however Miami is strictly run oriented. Pittsburgs injuries are far more devastating. Quarterback play is not nearly as important as it is in Pittsburg. Other than Ronny Brown who is a huge loss for them they still have an outstanding backup in Ricky Williams which can take that load and run the wildcat very well. Who else has been injured in Miami besides "noodle arm" Pennington? Besides Miami's record isn't that great, they lost even to the Bills a few weeks ago. AFC east is a weak overall division.

They lost Will Allen:) and Porter is playing on one leg these days.

But the Ronnie injury was huge for them. He's the man that runs the wildcat.

Yeah it is pretty weak, but the playoffs are open this year if the Pats miss.

I love this time of the year. So many possible stories can come out in the NFL. Steelers choking worse than the Cowboys is probably my favorite this year though.

Ricky Williams runs it pretty damn well himself in the run game however Ronnie Brown is much more of a threat to pass on defenses. Which statistically they only do about 1-2% of the time the last time I heard on broadcast earlier in the year.

I think the fact the Bills stopped them shows the difference. :p

When Ronnie was in you got rolled 38-10 take him out and you are winners. :D Good news for Bills fans is that the Pats appear to be slowing down a little.

Well Darien your team's offense looks like another Norv Turner offense I watched in the early 90s. I see a Super Bowl in your future. The Colts always lose to you guys and you are loaded.

Cowboys will be shopping for a new coach soon. Why wasn't Romo given the chances he had last week to light up the defense?

I think it will be Mike Shanahan

Wade: O golly jee wizz Mr. Jones, if only there were 11 months in the year. Dang, I told Tony we'll get em` next week.

Mr. Jones: You told me that last week after the loss. Ya know Wade we play the saints next week.,, anyways while gloating at my multi-million dollar big screen and all the superbowl rings on my fingers I noticed Norv motivating each player going off the field at half time. The broadcast panned to you and it looked like you were sleeping walking off the field. Whats with that?

Wade: Jee wizz Mr. Jones, we were preparing very hard this week, I didn't get much sleep. My headset was also giving me problems. If you noticed there were multiple times throughout the game I didn't have it on. Gosh those things get uncomfortable....dang I hate the holiday season.

Man, I don't know how much Jerry Johnson paid those officials, but that had to be about the worst officiated game I've seen all season!!!

2 HUGE no PI calls on Floyd. I don't know how the hell they didn't call the first one. 21 - Jenkins practically tackled Floyd, yet no flag?!?! Complete crap!

Then there was a play were Ware was lined up with his hand on the ground in the middle of the football!!! How the hell was that not offsides?!?! By the way, I'm glad that Ware's going to be okay. Neck injuries are always scary. After it happened, I said to myself, "let him be out for the rest of the game, but let him be okay."

That goalline stand in the 2nd quarter was AWESOME!!! 3 shots from the one and the Cowboys got stuffed! That series had me worried. The Boys just kept running it and running it and the Bolts just couldn't stop them. But once they got to the one, the wall came down.

All in all, a very exciting game. Just terrible officiating.

It seems the NFC east has become the new "black and blue" division.

In the interest of parody: Go Giants!!

No hidden agenda here. ;)

The officiating was not the best. There was some calls that should have been made on both sides however there were a few down field that would have been more critical against Dallas. Dallas lost in the end thats all that matters. Americas team did not play very well in such a critical game at home.
