How can you justify spending so much cash??

What should I spend it on?

Should I pay $500 for the blue-tooth option on my car?
Is that Prius worth $10,000 more than than Yaris?
I spent *what* on a pool?

I justify it as "this is what I want more than the other things I could spend this on". How about you?
I just so agree with that..when i want something i just wait to have the money for it and then i buy it..and honestly wich 1000$ system can match a 10000$ one ??...i buy all the different things one after the other but when i do i feel like i just did the right choice..;)...now that i have the perfect display..(to my eyes)..TCP54G10...im going to change all of my speakers and want to go with the studio series from paradigm..i love their stuff and i think the studio 100 or 60 v5 will be in my home sooner then later..

They aren't ugly per se, just too big. I could probably cope with a smaller pair.

Speakers (7.1 and 6.1), 2 receivers, 2 projectors, a PS/3, HD-DVD, DVR, 2 DVR's, 2 subwoofers, and I still "get some" a couple times a week.

Thank you for the suspension. (I will bring the beer to the party as agreed)
:D ROTFLMAO!!!! Well done GM!:D

Ah, a subscriber to Internet Rule 30 eh? (For those who don't know the rules of the Internet, Rule 30 states "There are no girls on the internet") Because knowledge is power!

Shintsu, don't knock booze, drugs and strippers so much. I supported my way through college by having keggers and charging an entry fee. Some of my good friends are strippers and are the nicest people who earn good money. And working in a hospital you'l be amazed at how many good uses there are for illegal substances.

Oh one more thing, as an agnostic, I can swing either way, but wouldn't it be a bummer to find out that you led a very moral good life to find out in the end it's nothing but blackness. Think about it. ;)

Not to continue the side-track but: I've dated more than one stripper, and met their friends. Until those experiences: I assumed that strippers ran the same gambit of personalities as women in general; if so all women are insane.

Sadly, stripping also objectifies men; and after a while strippers seem to have trouble turning that off. Why I'll never let one I want to date give me a lap dance. If you know sane strippers, I want to hang out with you. I love a woman who knows her own sensuality.

It should and eveything I know says that...but...

Warp and I both went through this with our own systems. I had sold my EMO and bought his Rotel. We were both without an amp for a week and used our AVRs (Denon3808 for me and Pioneer for him) to power our 100's. We both thought the speakers just sounded flat even at lower volumes. It shouldn't matter at low volumes but it did.

Please note, we both have huge rooms (~8,000 cubic ft) so maybe "low" volume in our rooms is still pushing it pretty hard.

Now at high volumes, no doubt about it, the 100's like a lot of power and they dip down in the 3ohm range.

Give it a shot with just the AVR but get ready to add an external amp.

If you really want the 100's and get the 60's, you will always wonder what it would be like if you had of gotten the 100's. If your budget allows for the 100's get them.

[staring at empty wallet] Yes... always the amp. At least the 100s don't require quad-amping :)
In your case booze, whores and drugs instead of audio might be viewed as budget minded. :)
