I have been bashing my head against the wall trying to find a good solution to do a power inlet/ outlet on my TV wall.
I wanted something that I could put in a double gang box with a regular outlet. I want to minimize the number of wall plates on the wall in the event I decide to place things somewhere else in the future.
I was just about to give up when I found a company that actually pulled their head out of their *** and designed something useful.

Midlite makes this product and the entire kit is for sale on Amazon.
The inlet and outlet are both decora style, which allows them to be used with any standard decora style wall plate, including 2, 3, 4, and 5 gang wall plates. This will allow me to put the inlet in a 2 gang box with a regular outlet down low, and the outlet in a two gang with a low voltage divider up top. Leviton makes a decora insert I will use up top at TV level. It is an opening with little brushes on either side that allow you to pass low voltage wires into the box and through a conduit.
