First I've heard of it.
I'm still a fan of their earlier stuff. Not so much of the more recent songs.

Still, It would be a shame to see another band from my generation go away.

There would be no way the band could carry on without him. It would be like Mick leaving the Stones.
Joe didn't do so well when he quit back in the 80's. He ended up playing local bars. At least I got to see him up close.

They should retire. Or at least stop recording new material. They haven't made a good record in 25 -30 years. Maybe "Permanent Vacation", but I'm being generous...

Isn't it amazing how sobriety can make a good band suck?

I wouldn't have thought that Van Halen could continue on without Diamond Dave, but they did pretty well. I don't know who they could get to replace Steven Tyler though.

Yes, Van Halen did pretty well without Dave. But with Sammy, they sucked in technicolor. I don't care how many CDs they sold with him. Hey, maybe Aerosmith could recruit Dave!:D:D

You're being real generous. ;)

Honkin' on Bobo is worth a listen. It's the last Aerosmith release I've bought since Night in the Ruts. (just to show my age)

VH was a mere washed out color copy of its self after Dave. That and the fact the Asshat brothers forced out Micheal Anthony just adds to there already tarnished reputation.

The days of Diamond Dave were a bit before me, but I do like VH's music from back then. I also enjoyed VH's For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge back in college, though. I still think that Right Now is an excellent song.

They really didn't throw out Anthony,he Quit. He has a much better time with Sammy as Sammy still has a good attitude. That goes a really long way in the music buisness.Plus Chickenfoot is great. They all look like they are having alot of fun playing live.
